Artist's Comments

The pianist is the 4th member of the family of musicians (to see his broīs and sis go to [link] [link] [link])

Heīs marching on the keyboard to play his melody in D-moll... How much he adores the music... Itīs his only love, only passion, only life...

I love this style, sort of bronzed african statues yet so semminly in motion

incredible rendering. I love the way you're using your pen, almost like a cross-hatching technique. The highlight on the creature's back has a wonderful gradient to shadow considering the gradation comes from a build-up of pen! Usually, I'd say that the greying from how you lit the drawing when you took the picture is distracting... but i like how it subtly moves from a white to a slight grey (top to bottom, respectively). Sorry, in a rush, I would comment more because this image seems bizarrely striking.
Thank you very much for your comments! Iīm happy you took the time to drop me a message :)
...you know-the lighting of the pictures is still one of my problems. Iīm seeking a place in our flat where it would the best to take the photos... But itīsprobably a vain try almost always

Superbly detailed and stylized. I love the concept and form. The figure is beautifully rendered.
